THE MONODRAMA IS BASED ON THE NOVEL
“A MAN WAS GOING DOWN THE ROAD” BY OTAR CHILADZE
The play is about the Mythological medea, her feelings and emotions; about love so immense and powerful that it is incompatible with life; about the feeling that makes her take actions that are terrifying, criminal and beyond understanding for others.
Monodrama is her inner monologue, with the realization of the crime committed and her own sins.
The whole plat is an embodiment of medea’s nightmares, alternating between her dreams, confession and dramatic delusions.
